We handle your information as follows, depending on the payment method. In every case, we do not store your card’s security code (CVV/CVC).
Credit Card (with automatic renewal) #
The card number itself is securely stored by our PCI DSS-compliant payment processor (Stripe). We do not store the full card number on our servers; we retain only the card brand, last 4 digits, and expiration date used to identify the card, together with the encrypted payment token used for recurring billing. Subsequent charges are processed using this token.
PayPal (with automatic renewal) #
With automatic renewal via PayPal, no card information is stored on our servers or by our payment processor. We retain only the recurring-payment (billing agreement) ID issued by PayPal and the billing information such as the next billing date and amount. The funding source for your payments (PayPal balance, a linked bank account, a registered card, etc.) is managed entirely within your own PayPal account.
Square (one-time payment) #
Payment via Square is a one-time (single) payment. Automatic renewal is not supported, and we do not store any information (such as card details or tokens) used for future charges. If you continue using our services, you will need to complete the payment procedure again at each renewal.
Cancellation and Removal of Payment Methods #
You can delete or change a registered payment method and cancel automatic renewal at any time from the Client Portal (for PayPal, you can also cancel this from the “Automatic Payments / pre-approved payments” setting in your PayPal account).
