백업 및 복원

Purpose #

This document provides procedures for restoring from backups (recovery) and configuring backup schedules that can be performed on the client portal.

Prerequisites #

  • You can log in to the client portal
  • You can open the target VPS/VM (service) screen
  • The backup you want to restore has been created (it appears in the list)

Open the Target Service Screen #

Log in to the client portal.

Open Services from the left menu and select the target VPS/VM.

On the service details screen, operate the storage-related tabs (Backup / Backup Schedule).

Restoring from Backup (Recovery) #

1. Open the Backup List #

  1. Open the Backup tab on the service details screen.
  2. Click the gear icon (Actions) on the right side of the backup row you want to restore.

2. Execute “Restore” #

  1. Select Restore from the actions menu.

3. Click OK in the Confirmation Dialog #

  1. When “Are you sure you want to restore this backup?” is displayed, click OK.

4. Confirm the Progress of Restore (ROLLBACK) Processing #

  1. Once the restore is accepted, a notification such as “Scheduled restore from backup” will appear in the top right of the screen.
  2. The status in the service details will change to ROLLBACK, and “Server is executing task” will be displayed.
  3. Click Refresh as needed and wait until the status is complete.

Notice: “Restore” returns the server’s disk state to the point of the backup, so changes made after the restore will be lost. Please confirm the impact scope before proceeding.

Retrieving Files from Backup (File Restore) #

If you want to download files/directories within a backup rather than restore the entire backup, use File Restore. (On the screen, the flow is to download as a zip using “Download as”)

1. Open File Restore #

  1. On the Backup tab, click the gear icon (Actions) for the target backup.
  2. Select File Restore from the menu.

2. Select the Path You Want to Retrieve and Download with “Download as” #

  1. Select the directory/file you want to retrieve from the displayed tree (e.g., /var).
  2. Click Download as at the bottom right of the screen to start the download (zip).
  3. Follow the browser’s download/save dialog to save the file.

Backup Schedule Configuration #

1. Open the Backup Schedule Screen #

  1. Open the Backup Schedule tab on the service details screen.
  2. Click Edit on the right side of the schedule list.

2. Enter Schedule Details #

On the edit screen (modal), configure the following:

  • Status: Enabled / Disabled
  • Days of Week: Days on which to run automatic backups (multiple selections possible)
  • Hour / Minute: Execution time
  • Backups to keep: Number of backups to retain (the actual deletion timing varies depending on the environment, so please confirm according to your operations)

3. Save with “Submit” #

  1. Once configuration is complete, click Submit.

4. Confirm Application #

  1. A notification such as “Backup Job updated” will be displayed.
  2. Confirm that the Next Backup in the list is the intended date and time.

Notes and Common Messages #

  • Backup job limit reached
    The backup job limit may have been reached due to your contract plan or server-side restrictions. Consider deleting existing backups or contacting support.
  • Shortly after restore or backup creation, “Server is executing task” may be displayed. If the status does not change, click Refresh to check the progress.
