HARDWARE INTEGRATION / STORAGE / SAN / MIGRATION

Complete server/storage replacement without downtime.

We provide end-to-end support for EOL replacements, capacity constraints, and performance degradation—from sizing through configuration design, deployment, data migration, acceptance testing, to operations handover.
We clarify downtime requirements and cutover procedures to ensure completion according to plan.

Sizing/configuration design from I/O and capacity
Volume tables and connection diagrams fully documented
Cutover and recovery (rollback) built into the plan
Phased deployment (one system → horizontal rollout)

Current State Assessment (As-Is)
Inventory capacity, growth rate, I/O (IOPS, latency), connection methods (FC, iSCSI, NFS/CIFS), backup, DR, and dependencies.
Define “mandatory downtime requirements” and migration priorities.
Phased Deployment (Small start)
Begin with one host/one system for connection and migration rehearsal.
Verify “it works” through acceptance testing (performance, redundancy, restore) before horizontal rollout, shortening the production cutover.
Handover (Docs)
Deliver configuration diagrams, volume tables, connection tables (ports, zoning, etc.), cutover and recovery procedures, checklists, and test results (evidence).
Hand off to operations in a state where “anyone can maintain the same quality.”

Migration and integration, as planned.

  • Current I/O analysis → sizing → architecture design → migration planning unified into one process

  • Clarify dependencies (application → database → storage → backup) and switch safely

  • Prevent omissions and rework through checklists + rehearsals + acceptance testing

  • Deliver architecture diagrams / configuration tables / procedures / test evidence to meet operations and audit standards

Hardware/Storage Integration Services FAQ

  • Can you also handle on-site work (rack installation and cabling)?

Yes, we can. We handle everything from rack installation, cabling, and labeling in the data center/server room to connection verification (if there are entry procedures or work time restrictions, we will coordinate in advance).

  • What deliverables (documents) will be provided?

Configuration diagrams, volume tables, connection tables (ports/zoning, etc.), switchover procedures, rollback procedures, checklists, test items and test results (evidence), operations procedures (monitoring and initial troubleshooting), etc.

  • Can you also review the backup/DR design?

Yes, we can. We create a “recoverable state” that includes generation management, recovery procedures, and DR (replication, etc.). Our scope can also include **restore verification (drills)** after the switchover.

  • We’re unsure if the performance meets our needs. Can you also conduct performance evaluation and testing?

Yes, it is possible. In addition to organizing I/O requirements in advance, we conduct load testing (e.g., FIO) and acceptance testing (performance, redundancy, recovery) as needed, and keep them as evidence.

  • What data migration methods do you support?

The optimal approach varies depending on the target (VM/DB/files) and requirements (downtime tolerance, consistency, speed). After assessing the current situation, we design a practical procedure from options such as online/offline/staged migration.

  • If the switchover fails, can it be rolled back?

We define switch conditions, decision points, and recovery procedures (rollback) in advance without ambiguity about “possible/impossible.” We also prepare decision criteria for the day of the switch (check items, logs, test results).

  • How much downtime is required?

It depends on the system dependencies and migration method. To minimize downtime, we organize and propose options and risks, such as phased migration / pre-synchronization / rehearsal of cutover procedures

  • Can you also propose configurations for vendor selection and renewals?

Yes. Based on EOL/EOSL, capacity increase, performance (IOPS/latency), redundancy, backup/DR, and operations structure, we will implement a configuration that meets your requirements.

  • What connection methods and protocols are supported?

We support design, setup, and migration tailored to your existing methods such as FC (SAN), iSCSI, NFS, and CIFS (SMB). Configurations including HCI (Ceph/vSAN, etc.) are also available for consultation.

  • How much support can I receive?

From current state assessment (capacity, I/O, dependencies) → sizing → configuration design → setup → data migration → acceptance testing → operations handover (document delivery), we handle everything end-to-end.

  • Which storage manufacturers are supported?

    Vendor-free.

We can handle everything from surveying your existing environment. Details will be confirmed through a hearing.
